Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Commitment
At AudioTest, your privacy is our foundation. All audio processing happens entirely in your browser. We never record, upload, store, or transmit your audio data.
How AudioTest Works
AudioTest uses the Web Audio API — a browser-native technology that processes audio signals directly on your device.
- Audio signals are generated and analyzed entirely within your browser.
- No audio data leaves your computer at any point.
- You can use all tools without creating an account.
Microphone Access
Some tests (e.g., speaker test, hearing test) may request microphone access to capture audio output from your speakers or headphones:
- Requires explicit permissionvia your browser's standard prompt.
- Used only for real-time local analysis — the audio stream is processed in-memory and immediately discarded.
- Can be revoked at any time through browser settings.
- Is never recorded, stored, or sent to any server.
If you decline microphone access, you can still use all visual and playback-based tests.
Data We Collect
- Anonymous usage analytics via Google Analytics — page views, session duration, browser type, country-level location. No personally identifiable information.
- No personal data— we don't ask for your name, email, or any identifying information. No user accounts.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
AudioTest and our third-party partners use cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons and local storage) to operate the site and to measure and improve it. We use these technologies for:
- Essential functionality — remembering your language and tool preferences.
- Anonymous analytics — Google Analytics uses cookies to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, session duration, browser type, country-level location).
- Advertising — Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads (see Advertising below).
